Dear Valued Synergy Distributor,
Due to the overwhelming level of interest and excitement on the development of Vietnam as a
new market opportunity, Synergy WorldWide wants to provide an official update for
distributors. First, let me assure you that the company is completely committed to launching a
successful business opportunity in Vietnam. We have no doubt that the Vietnamese market will
provide a tremendous opportunity for long-term growth and success.
We have experienced some delays in working through changes in Vietnam law governing the
network marketing industry. These changes have forced us to review and modify several key
areas to the way we structure our business from a legal and accounting standpoint. We feel
confident that we have solved most of these issues and are close to finalizing the structure of our
business in Vietnam. Although these changes have slowed our development schedule some, we
are aggressively moving forward for a successful 2008 opening.
Synergy is proceeding with product registration, logistics, and operations, and we are actively
interviewing potential general management candidates. Several of our key team members have
recently been on the ground in Vietnam dealing with issues as they arise.
We are excited with our business in Southeast Asia and feel strongly about the great potential
throughout this region. For example, Synergy continues to see impressive growth in Indonesia.
We saw the Philippines market grow by 300 percent in January, and we see continued significant
growth there. It’s obvious that the Synergy opportunity is alive and well in this region of the
world!
Synergy understands that timing in the marketplace is crucial to a successful launch and opening
of any new market. We are committed to opening the Vietnam market as soon as we feel
confident that the proper structure, support, and long-term business strategy is in place.
Therefore, it would not be prudent or professional to provide specific dates for prelaunch or
official grand opening dates at this time. We hope that we can announce specific dates soon. We
appreciate your support and commitment as we move forward with the development of Vietnam.
